Indigo Phoenix Women's Circle is a compassionate space for you to explore, express, and celebrate the evolution of your whole story. In our circle, we enrich authentically, empowered expression in ourselves, and empower one another through our shared intention to thrive.
Your story belongs to you. The versions of you held by others are elements of their stories. It's easy to confuse the two. As women, we expend vast energies supporting, enabling, encouraging, nurturing, healing, recognizing the narratives of those we love. Within these roles, we become these versions in the eyes of the recipients.
Are we, as they see us, or are we, someone more?
It becomes uncomfortable for others once we grow beyond the scope of who they define us to be.
Sometimes we delay our movement ahead in hopes they will catch on and catch up. Ultimately, we thrive once we do the work to fulfill our soul's authentic calling.
Loving ourselves into being is one of the most significant challenges and triumphs we can experience. Each time we share our truths with those who honor our authentic selves, we celebrate our story.

“The Indigo Phoenix Expression Course has been a particularly welcome haven from a turbulent world. This group has offered me the rare opportunity to take introspective time and participate in a compassionate community towards mutual enrichment. While there may be other groups out there, I’ve found the topics put forth during Indigo Expression to be particularly meaningful to me as a creative being.”

“I’ve been so lucky recently to experience many weeks of meeting up with some pretty amazing women, and sharing our strengths, vulnerabilities, exuberance, disappointments, wins, and a LOT of laughter in a very kind and caring circle. Our sole purpose was supporting each other’s “empowered expression”. How the hell did we do that during a pandemic and constant uncertainty in our personal lives? We met thru Zoom at a specific time each week. @phoenixtheindigowriter would guide us thru a brief meditation based on a page of poems from her relatable little book, “Indigo.” It’s actually structured, full of fun and wisdom, and I made many new friends during our course. When the first one ended I definitely was not ready to let go and quickly signed up for a second, longer one. Well that one’s about to come to an end and I want to invite my ladies to check this link I’m providing if you’re interested in joining this little sisterhood of creatives 💙

Does This Sound Familiar?
Once upon a time, in a land not-so-far-away, I clutched onto my unhappiness for dear life. I honored ill-fitted relationships and perfected self-defeating habits. None of it was healthy, but I made it work.
The Hook: The pain of familiar dysfunction was more tolerable than my fear of the unknown. After all, I'd worked at self-denial for a very long time; it was too scary to walk away from the investment in my falsehood.
The Burden: Being everyone else's version of myself was exhausting.
The Censor: My inner critic relentlessly shouted absurdities, advising me to silence my voice and keep the peace. My body responded in unison, constricting my throat, and rocking my nerves whenever I attempted to express my needs, opinions, and feelings.
The Cost: Unable to self-advocate, I was too weak and insecure about advocating for loved ones and others. Instead of expressing my views and feelings with confidence, I wielded my wounded, hesitant voice.
The Truth: Self-expression rooted in wounds renders disempowered, ineffective communication. Intrinsically, I knew something had to change and felt that my strategies weren't sustainable.
A New Way Forward
The Antitoxin: One of the most potent shifts for me was to heal my self-expression. The way I navigated feelings about my right to exist influenced both my inner dialogue and self-expression in the world.
The Course: I employed various modalities towards fully stepping into my grace and claiming my right to exist. Listening to my words, writing about my heart, truths, and passions, I uncovered my authentic self-expression.
The Release And Reward: There are many, and the list continues to grow. Two of my favorite shifts:
— disentanglements of relationships that drained my joy
— empowered, confident communication of my ideas, feelings, and needs.
